2017 Cortland Oktoberfest
The Cortland Oktoberfest, "Tangled Up In Brew" event will take place behind the Cortland Lions Club building at 197 West Main St. Cortland, Ohio.
Each person will be able to sample each of the craft beers from the various breweries, participants will receive a memorabilia pint glass of the event, four (4) hours of entertainment (DJ Flyweight and Blues Project), and a pretzel necklace. Additional beer, soda and food will be available for purchase.
All "Tangled Up In Brew," attendees are expected to drink responsibly and ensure they have a safe, responsible means of transportation before leaving the event. Any guest who is intoxicated before entering the event may be denied entrance to our facility. Guests found intoxicated within the event and causing a disturbance, will be asked to leave the facility without refund and may be subject to further consequences. The Cortland Oktoberfest management works closely with law enforcement.
The following items are prohibited from the Festival: pets (except service dogs), illegal substances, weapons of any kind (including but not limited to: guns, knives, scissors or other sharp implements and pepper spray), framed or large backpacks, food or beverage of any kind, alcohol, glass containers of any kind, skateboards, roller skates scooters or personal motorized vehicles (except people with mobility limitations), fireworks and explosives, instruments and laser pointers, picnic baskets, lawn furniture, tents, coolers of any kind, unapproved marketing materials/stickers, drones, and selfie sticks. Cortland Oktoberfest management may reject items at their discretion on a case-by-case basis.
No, all attendees must be 21 years of older to attend. No children or infants allowed.
Yes. There are a variety of food and drink options available throughout the Tangled Up In Brew for your enjoyment
Yes, you are welcome to bring a personal camera. Tripods, monopods and selfie sticks are not allowed.
Yes, the Cortland Lions Club will have some alcoholic beverage options available for sale.
The Tangled Up In Brew event is rain or shine.
No. There is no re-entry once you have entered the site.
Sorry, as stated when purchased, tickets are non-refundable.
Yes. Will call will be located at the front entrance.
EMTs will be on-site to help with any emergencies. If you need assistance look for a police officer, festival volunteer, security or Cortland Oktoberfest staff member to direct you to the medical area.
Lost & found will be located at the main entrance of the Tangled Up In Brew event and the Volunteer Headquarters during the event.
Our primary goal is to create a safe and secure environment for all Cortland Ockotberfest festival attendees. To ensure this, there will be on-site security provided by local police. If you're experiencing any problems whatsoever, locate a Cortland Oktoberfest staff member, security guard, or police officer will be able to assist.
We do not promote over-consumption so please pace yourself. Anyone found to be excessively intoxicated will be removed from the premises. Remember: Quality, not Quantity!
